Who is responsible for your data

What we collect

Only what we need in order to look after you:

• Identification and contact details: your name, WhatsApp or phone number, and email if you give it.
• Appointment details: the service you want, the location or the address we're travelling to, and the date and time.
• Sensitive personal data, when you choose to share it: allergies, pregnancy, injuries, recent surgery, conditions or medication you're taking.

Health information counts as sensitive personal data under Mexican law. You're not obliged to give it to us. You share it because it lets us choose the right oils, pressure and techniques, and in some cases tells us a treatment isn't suitable for you. By writing it into our forms or telling us on WhatsApp, you give your express consent for us to use it for that purpose.

We do not collect financial or payment data through this website.

What we use it for

Necessary purposes. Without these we can't provide the service:

• Booking, confirming, moving or cancelling your appointment.
• Preparing your session safely, taking into account what you've told us about your health.
• Contacting you about schedule changes or anything unexpected.
• Keeping a record of your treatments so multi-session courses stay consistent.
• Meeting legal and tax obligations where applicable.

Optional purposes. These aren't necessary, and you can decline without it affecting your service:

• Sending you promotions, seasonal packages or treatment reminders.
• Inviting you to events or workshops.
• Asking for a review or your feedback.

If you'd rather we didn't use your data for the optional purposes, tell us on WhatsApp or at the privacy address. A message is enough, and you don't have to give a reason.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

To run the site and communicate with you we use providers that, by their nature, process some data on servers outside Mexico:

• Netlify (United States): hosting, and receiving the forms you fill in here.
• Google (United States): typefaces and the location map. Loading the page means your browser contacts their servers and passes them your IP address.
• WhatsApp, part of Meta (United States): the messaging we use to book and confirm.

These providers act as processors: they handle the data on our behalf and on our instructions. If we adopt an online booking system in future, we'll add it to this list before we start using it.

We may also hand over data to a competent authority where there is a properly founded order requiring us to.

Your ARCO rights

Mexican law gives you four rights over your data, known as ARCO rights:

• Access: find out what data we hold about you and how we use it.
• Rectification: correct it if it's wrong or incomplete.
• Cancellation: ask us to delete it.
• Opposition: ask us to stop using it for a particular purpose.

To exercise them, write to [privacidad@omlamwellness.com] or message +52 55 1814 7910 with your name, a way to reach you, which right you want to exercise and over what data. We'll ask for identification to confirm it's you, and we'll respond within the timeframes the law sets.

Exercising these rights is free. You would only cover postage or copying costs if you ask for the information in a format that creates them.

There are cases where we can't delete everything immediately — for instance where tax law requires us to keep records. Where that applies, we'll explain it and tell you for how long.

Withdrawing your consent

You can withdraw the consent you gave us at any time, including for your health information. Write to us and we'll action it.

Bear in mind that if you withdraw consent for health information, we can no longer adapt the session to your circumstances, and we may have to decline certain treatments on safety grounds.

What this site stores in your browser

This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics tools that follow you across the web.

It does store three things in your browser's local storage, on your own device, so it doesn't have to ask twice:

• The language you chose.
• The location you selected.
• Whether you've already seen the 20% welcome window.

That information never leaves your device and we can't read it. You can clear it from your browser settings whenever you like.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this notice and change the date at the top. Where a change is significant, we'll tell you through whichever channel we normally use to reach you.

If you believe your data protection rights have been breached, you can approach the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno, which since 21 March 2025 has been Mexico's data protection authority, replacing the former INAI.
